Labor Day Weekend at the Lake

This Labor Day Weekend, be sure to stop by the best Italian restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks for some food and entertainment!  Grab yourself some delicious pizza or pasta made from all the freshest quality ingredients.  Then sit back and enjoy the instrumental tunes before heading out the catch the fireworks!

Live Music on Saturday 


Join us for live entertainment at the Lake of the Ozarks by "Me and Jim," an instrumental duet performing familiar tunes from the 60's and 70's at a conversational volume.  The show is from 7-10 PM this Saturday, August, 30th at our Horseshoe Bend location.

"Jim," that is Jim Biggs, has been pickin' the guitar since he was just a sprout. He has performed in concert with big names including Chuck Berry, Barbara Mandrel, and Barbara Fairchild.  He owns a pile of vintage guitars, mostly Les Pauls, and has been known to bring several of them to the shows and switch guitars as they become too hot to handle!

As for "Me," Frank Phelps started playing the Guitar and mandolin with his dad and brothers and sister many moons ago.  As Frank grew up, he started to play rock music and performed in many bands that no one has ever heard of, but had fun just the same. Frank has performed from California to Canada in night clubs, hotels, and basements, doing concerts, dances, parties and festivals.

Labor Day Fireworks Around the Lake


Fireworks at Bear Bottom Resort
On Saturday, August 30 from 8:30-9:30 PM, you can view fireworks by land at Bear Bottom Resort or by water at the 38 MM.  Parking is limited at the resort so arrive early. 

Fireworks at Lodge of Four Seasons
A BBQ and Carnival will be held prior to fireworks on Sunday, August 31 starting at 6 PM.  Paid non-hotel guests must be on the Lodge of Four Seasons property before 8 PM.  Pricing is $22 for adults and $12 for children, with children under 5 being free.  You can also view by water at the 13 MM.  Call 573-365-3000 for more details. 

Fireworks at Tan-Tar-A Resort
Fireworks will be from 8-9 PM on Sunday, August 31.  Viewing by land on the Tan-Tar-A property is reserved for resort guests only, but you can view by water at the 26 MM.  Call 573-348-3131 for more details.
