Li'l Rizzo's has been in the Borders family since the very beginning!  Carol Borders, along with Mike Rizzo and Ed Alexander, founded the original Rizzo's in 1985.  The restaurant was a success and soon Carol acquired full ownership.  Two other restaurants have since opened, which brings us to her son Bill.  Carol and Bill opened the Premium Outlets location together and now he runs both it and the Horseshoe Bend location.  To get to know who's running your favorite Italian restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks  today, we asked Bill some questions and here are his answers! The Best Italian Restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks is now blogging!   Li'l Rizzo's has been locally owned and operated by the Borders family since 1985. Founded by Carol Borders, Mike Rizzo, and Ed Alexander, the original Rizzo's was located on Bagnell Dam Boulevard. The original or "Big Rizzo's" was the first fine dining Italian restaurant at the Lake of the Ozarks and one of the first to stay open year round! Rizzo's was an immediate success and Carol soon acquired full ownership.
