The Game Of The Year

The Big Game is just around the corner. It is one of the most anticipated days of the year, and people will gather far and wide to watch the game. This year, on Sunday, February 4th, the Philadelphia Eagles will be taking on the New England Patriots. While football fans across the country are gearing up to watch the big game, others may be awaiting the half-time performance and of course some of the best commercials that air. But let’s be honest, one of the best parts of the Big Game is the food you get to eat all day long. Li’l Rizzo’s is excited about the big game and with the best Italian food at the Lake of the Ozarks, we can help make your experience the best.

The Stadium

The game will be played in Minneapolis, Minnesota at the U.S. Bank Stadium. This stadium just finished hosting its second Minnesota Vikings season after being built in time for the 2016 NFL season. The stadium seats 66,200 but it can be expanded to fit up to 70,000 people. The Big Game will be the first Super Bowl in Minnesota since Super Bowl XXVI back in 1992 at The Metrodome.

Half Time Show

From Bruce Springsteen to Coldplay, Beyoncé to Bruno Mars, celebrities from all musical genres have taken the Super Bowl stage over the years. The half-time show is one of the greatest performance opportunities for musicians; it's a chance for them to show off their catalogue of music to 100+ million viewers. The halftime performer for this years Super Bowl is Justin Timberlake. He is the first musician to secure 3 Super Bowl halftime performances.

Commercials

Each year marketers strive to put together the best ads they can come up with for the Super Bowl. Major brands like Budweiser, Doritos, Pepsi and more have created the best commercials from those that make you laugh to those that pull at your heartstrings. This year's Super Bowl Commercials should be no different. This year, the cost for a 30-second commercial is $7.7 million. With that price tag, we should expect some pretty unique commercials.
