Seafood + Pasta = An Irresistible Combination!

The perfect pasta topped with a savory sauce is an excellent start when serving the best Italian food at the Lake of the Ozarks. Sometimes that's enough, but other times you may be in the mood for additional meats, vegetables, or other toppings along with that. Li'l Rizzo's Italian Restaurant offers lots of different combinations of pasta dishes with chicken, beef, pork, and many more ingredients for a delicious variety.

Today, we are featuring the succulent seafood that is served daily in our Italian restaurants at the Lake of the Ozarks. Between our two locations, there are 5 pasta dishes on the menu plus you are welcome to add shrimp to customize our other pasta menu items. Our seafood offerings are not just reserved for pasta either.

Which Seafood Is Most Popular?

Here at Li'l Rizzo's, we create amazing menu items with a variety of seafoods including shrimp, real crabmeat, clams, and salmon. According to our research, the most widely served seafood in the United States is shrimp. Over 5-billion pounds of shrimp are produced every single year and 1-billion pounds of those are eaten by Americans! It is estimated that out of the 15.5 pounds of seafood we each eat every year, about 4 pounds of that is shrimp, followed by salmon.

Since this particular crustacean is so popular among diners, shrimp is the star of the majority of our seafood dishes. It is suggested that a person eat a variety of seafood for at least two meals each week. It is a low-calorie source of protein, is low-fat, and provides many important vitamins and minerals for a healthy body. Oh, and also important, it tastes delicious!
