Pack Some Li'l Rizzo's Into Your 4th of July Picnic Basket
The 4th of July is a wonderful time to get outdoors and enjoy nature. (Especially if you're here in the gorgeous Lake of the Ozarks area!) If you dine at the Li'l Rizzo's Italian Restaurant location on Horseshoe Bend Parkway in Lake Ozark, you can enjoy the best Italian food at the Lake of the Ozarks on our outdoor deck overlooking a breathtaking lake view. (While the Osage Beach location does not have outdoor seating, it does have the same amazing food!)
If your 4th of July at the Lake of the Ozarks will include a picnic in one of the many gorgeous parks in the area or even a picnic in your own backyard, consider picking up some food from Li'l Rizzo's to-go instead. We realize that a big plate of spaghetti or lasagna isn't the first type of food that comes to mind when you plan a picnic (although, it can be done!) No worries, because our menu features plenty of items that are perfect for outdoor dining "on-the-go."
Burgers & Sandwiches
Burgers are a popular picnic item if there's a grill nearby, but that involves cooking instead of enjoying the day. Skip the work and just grab a few Rizzo Burgers on your way to the park instead!
A Rizzo Burger is 8 ounces of ground chuck (fresh, never frozen) topped with sauteed onions, mushrooms, bacon, and melted Provel cheese on a locally baked ciabatta bun, served with homemade fries. If you're not quite that adventurous with toppings, our "plain" cheeseburgers are every bit as delicious! We've also got 6 other specialty sandwiches on the menu that can be wrapped up and packed into your picnic basket too.
Our World Famous House Salad
Every good picnic needs some delicious side dishes to enjoy alongside the main meal. Our cool, refreshing, "World Famous" House Salad tastes great paired with any main dish and, as a matter of fact, makes a great dinner salad on its own! (You can even have roasted garlic chicken or fried chicken tenders added on top.)
The House Salad at Li'l Rizzo's is a blend of iceberg and romaine lettuce tossed in our homemade, red wine vinegar-based, creamy Italian house dressing with diced red peppers, green onions, and Provel and Parmesan cheeses. Our salads also come with incredible Parmesan Ciabatta Rolls, making them even more irresistible.
Wings
Since wings can be a bit messy to eat, be sure to picnic someplace where you can wash up when you're done, or bring a whole lot of napkins with you! The best part about eating wings on-the-go is that no silverware is needed and you can get a variety of flavors to please a variety of people.

Okay, in all honesty, a pizza box is not going to fit into a picnic basket (especially our large 16" pizza) but this is a perfect food to pick up and take with you wherever you want to eat it. There will be multiple fireworks displays over the 4th of July Weekend in the lake area. Pick up a pizza or two, head to a great vantage point to view the fireworks, lay out a picnic blanket, and munch while you wait for the show to start!
